Being born and raised in both the boogie-down Bronx and Brooklyn landed to G Rugged's (25) unique and versatile sound. from the hardcore lyrics and to the smooth tone, G Rugged is a one stop shop for everything Hip-Hop.
Entering the world of Hip-Hop at the tender age of 10, G Rugged wrote his own lyrics and hit the Bronx' streets with his fresh freestyle sound and has slowly progressed and became the hottest, new talent of the block. Upon moving to Brooklyn G Rugged was involved with "Combined Skillz", a group that catered to not just neighborhood parties but also major talent shows including the Apollo. "Combined Skillz" inspired G to create his very own "Rugged Foundashun", which got him involved with not just rapping but also acting and modeling, including selected advertising billboard ads posted all over NYC, video clips and even brief movie appearances (such as Spike Lee's "Summer of Sam").
In any case, this little-ole "G" has definitely spread his wings and earned his place in the Hip Hop community. With his business mind and strong lyrical skills, G-Rugged is ready to take on the world.

4th N Long.

Deriving from football terminology.
